The Appointment
How long does a full set take?
About two hours. Every full set on this menu — Classic, Hybrid, Volume and Mega Volume — is booked at 120 minutes, because each extension is placed onto one natural lash at a time, and a Volume fan is several extensions per lash.
If you have never worn extensions, call or text (540) 290-3383 before you book rather than after. The style is chosen by looking at the natural lashes you have, and that conversation is easier on the phone than it is at the start of a two-hour appointment you have already committed to.
Plan the drive around your two-hour visit
838 Greenville Avenue is on US-11, Staunton's main south-side commercial corridor, a block north of Kline's Dairy Bar — single storey, with its own parking lot. About 11 minutes from Verona, 13 from Fishersville, 18 from Waynesboro. The address is on the even, west side of the road, so an approach from the south has the door on the left.
A first lash appointment, in order
- Call or text (540) 290-3383 if you are new to extensions, and say which of the four styles you have in mind. There is no separate consultation booking — the question is answered on the phone or in the first minutes of the appointment.
- Please complete the health form sent by Square before your appointment and arrive 5–10 minutes early.
- Choose the style: Classic, Hybrid, Volume or Mega Volume. UV adhesive is an upgrade you can add to any of them.
- The application is the rest of the appointment. You lie back with your eyes closed for most of the two hours.
- Book the fill before you leave. Fills are priced by lash style and the menu puts them two to three weeks apart.
The Four Styles
What is the difference between classic, hybrid and volume?
How many extensions go onto each natural lash. Classic puts one extension on one lash. Volume fans several finer extensions onto each one. Hybrid mixes the two along the lash line, and Mega Volume is the same fanning technique taken denser and finer still.
The four are priced in that order, from $220, and all four are the same 3 hour booking — a Volume set is finer work in the same two hours. The whole ladder sits on the lash section of the full menu.
If you would rather not wear extensions at all
A lash lift curls the lashes you already have and a tint darkens them — no adhesive, no fills, nothing to maintain in three weeks. Lash Lift & Tint is $90 for 60 minutes, a tint on its own is $40, Eyelash Glazing is $65, and the Lash Lift Refresher is $80.
| Style | What goes on each natural lash | Full set | Fill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic | One extension on one natural lash | $225 | $99 |
| Hybrid | Single extensions and small fans, mixed along the lash line | $220 | $120 |
| Volume | A fan of several finer extensions on each natural lash | $250 | $150 |
| Mega Volume | The same fanning, taken denser and finer still | $310 | $175 |
The Adhesive
Can I have UV-cured adhesive?
Yes, as a UV/LED adhesive upgrade — $21 for the UV Fill Upgrade. It is not a separate appointment and it does not change the style, the two hours or the fill schedule.
UV/LED adhesive uses a curing light. Ask Stacey about the adhesive, suitability and aftercare when booking. The menu lists the UV Fill Upgrade separately from the lash style you choose.
If the set you are wearing was done somewhere else
A fill on someone else's work starts with an assessment, and it carries a Foreign Fill charge of $21. The reason is practical rather than territorial: styles, adhesives and lash weights differ between studios, and what can safely be filled has to be looked at first. If your existing lashes cannot take a fill, what fits is a removal and a new full set, and you will be told that before anything is applied. A set more than three weeks old, or one that has shed heavily, often lands there.
Keeping Them
How often do fills need booking?
Every two to three weeks. That is the interval the booking page names, and it is what keeps a set looking like the week it went on — a fill replaces the extensions that have grown out on the natural lashes they were attached to.
Fills are priced by lash style, not by how many are missing, and a fill is a fraction of a full set: $99 for a Classic fill against $225 for a Classic set. Ask at the full-set appointment which end of that window suits yours.
Leave it too long and a fill becomes a full set
A fill needs enough of the existing set left to build on. Past about three weeks, or after heavy shedding, there may not be — and then the appointment that actually fits is a new full set rather than a fill. Booking the fill before you leave is the cheap way to avoid finding that out: a Classic fill is $99 against $225 for the set. If your fill week has already slipped, call or text (540) 290-3383 rather than guessing which appointment to put in.
| Fill | Price | Booked at |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | $99 | 60 min |
| Hybrid | $120 | 60 min |
| Volume | $150 | 70 min |
| Mega Volume | $175 | 75 min |
Taking Them Off
What if I want them off?
Book the Lash Extension Removal — half an hour, $53, and the set comes off in one appointment instead of over a fortnight at home.
It is the shortest appointment on the lash menu, and it is the right one to book whether you are stopping altogether or starting again with a different style. Picking at them at home is how natural lashes come away with the extensions.
If you are stopping rather than switching
A removal takes the set off and leaves your own lashes bare. If you want something in their place with no fill schedule attached, the lift and tint is on the same menu page.
One Building
Can I book lashes and a massage in one visit?
Yes. Healing Touch Body Work has served Staunton since 2009 and moved to its current Greenville Avenue location in 2021, and the skin, lash and brow side runs alongside the bodywork team — same building, same parking lot, same afternoon if the diary allows.
In the studio's own words: “Stacey is a Licensed Esthetician offering customized facials, waxing, lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, brow shaping, tinting, and lamination. She provides personalized, detail-focused care in a comfortable and relaxing environment.”
One thing to be precise about: esthetics and massage therapy are licensed separately in Virginia, by different agencies, so an esthetician's licence is not a massage licence and neither covers the other. Stacey does the skin and lash half. For the bodywork half, NCCIH's list of what to ask before booking massage runs to five questions — training, experience, credentials, how many sessions, and cost. We answer all five on the phone.
What pairs with a full set
Brows are the obvious companion, and lamination sets the hairs upward so a sparse brow reads fuller without any pigment at all. On the bodywork side, deep tissue and the rest of the massage menu start at 45 or 60 minutes; NCCIH's six things to know about massage therapy reports that massage appears to have few risks when performed by a trained practitioner.
Two hours, four styles, one lash at a time. Discuss the look you want with Stacey before your appointment.

Before You Book
Lash Extensions in Staunton, VA: questions we get asked
How much are lash extensions in Staunton, VA?
At Healing Touch Body Work, traditional full sets are $225 for Classic, $220 for Hybrid, $250 for Volume and $310 for Mega Volume. UV adhesive is an upgrade on any of them rather than a separate set. Those are the prices Square charges at online checkout.
How often do lash extensions need a fill?
Every two to three weeks. Fills are booked by lash style, starting at $99 for a Classic fill, and they take 60 to 75 minutes. Ask at your full-set appointment which end of that window suits your set.
Do you do UV lash extensions?
Healing Touch Body Work offers UV-cured adhesive as an upgrade on any lash set or fill — $21 for the UV Fill Upgrade — rather than as a separate set. A traditional lash adhesive cures in the air around it, so humidity affects it; UV/LED adhesive uses a curing light. Discuss the adhesive, suitability and aftercare with Stacey. The style, the two-hour appointment and the fill schedule are the same either way.
I have never worn lash extensions. Where do I start?
Call or text (540) 290-3383 at Healing Touch Body Work and say which of the four styles — Classic, Hybrid, Volume or Mega Volume — you have in mind. Which one suits you depends on the natural lashes you have, and that is a quicker conversation on the phone than at the start of a two-hour appointment. A full set starts at $220 and there is no separate consultation booking to make first.
Can I have a lash lift and tint instead of extensions?
Yes. A lash lift curls the lashes you already have and a tint darkens them — no adhesive, and nothing to fill in three weeks. Lash Lift & Tint is $90 for 60 minutes, and a lash tint on its own is $40.
Who does the lash work at Healing Touch Body Work?
Stacey P., the studio's Licensed Esthetician. She offers customized facials, waxing, lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, brow shaping, tinting and lamination. Esthetics and massage therapy are licensed separately in Virginia, by different agencies, and hers is the esthetics credential.
How do I have a set of lash extensions removed?
Book Lash Extension Removal — half an hour, $53, and the set comes off in a single appointment. It can be booked online through Square at any hour, or by calling or texting (540) 290-3383.
Do you do brows as well as lashes?
Yes. Eyebrow tinting is $35, a brow wax and tint together is $25, and eyebrow lamination is $85. Brows are done by the same esthetician and can be booked into the same visit as a lash appointment.
